What We Do
The BioRobotics Lab at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) focuses on developing novel rehab and assistive robots/devices for people with disabilities and lost functionalities due to stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, occupational injury, sports injury, etc. By enabling individuals with disabilities to be able to care for themselves, the BioRobotics lab hopes to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life while reducing the burden on families and communities.
